Rachel Dacus is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, graduating with a BA in Theatre. Her passion for Theatre began in her small town East Texas high school and has been growing ever since. During her time at Texas A&M, Rachel had the opportunity to work in many roles within the department. Those roles varied from costume design, directing, to graphic design and she eventually focused her sights on acting.
Rachel has performed in such shows as Macbeth, Machinal, and The Pillowman under the direction of the talented professors at Texas A&M. In addition to her work at Texas A&M, Rachel, along with a few brave students, helped found the Flexible Grey Theatre Company where she worked as an actress, graphic designer and now serves on the board of directors. Her credits at Flexible Grey include She Kills Monsters, The Children’s Hour, and Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead.
Rachel would like to thank Amy Guerin, Aaron Glover, and Christopher Cole who fought for their students and helped them all passionately pursue their art. They challenged us, mentored us, and life would be far less colorful without them.
