Michelle Schovaers Wagley
Michelle has been involved with the stage all her life, back to the time when her childhood friend and she put on concerts in her backyard at age 5. Since then, she has performed in numerous shows including: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena), Little Women (Jo March), Macbeth (Witch #1), Barefoot in the Park (Corrie Bratter), Doubt (Sister Aloysius and Sister James), The Odd Couple (Mickey) and The Laramie Project (Ensemble), among others.
Michelle graduated from Brigham Young University in 2007 with a BFA in Theatre Studies with an emphasis in Stage Management. She has worked on productions in Utah, England, California, Houston and College Station, Texas. Some of her backstage credits include: Aladdin (Prop Designer), The Foreigner (Asst. Stage Manager), Aida (Dresser), Peter Pan (Asst. Stage Manager), Hamlet (Production Stage Manager), Stadium of Fire - 4th of July Spectacular (Stage Manager), Palm Springs Follies (Production Assistant), Wit (Production Stage Manager), You Can't Take it With You (Performance Stage Manager), Frame 312 (Asst. Director), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Director), Cabaret (Asst. Stage Manager), P.S. Merry Christmas (Asst. Director), Crimes of the Heart (Set Designer), and Well (Director).
In her spare time, she and her husband Steven laugh.... a lot.
