Jovan Martinez

Jovan Martinez has dedicated his life to self-discipline, organization, and the military. Raised in Rio Grande City, TX. He graduated Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science and currently serves as a 1st Lieutenant within the 228th Combat Support Hospital in San Antonio TX.

Jovan first got his taste of the arts as a trumpet player in high school and continued his career into the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band as a member of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University. After the creation of a Halloween monster in 2008, bringing the character to life pointed him toward the direction of acting.

His adventurous and creative interests include various sports, running marathons, Halloween, costume/prop design, poetry, film, movie productions, theatre, and learning new things. Credits include: Doc Porter in Crimes of the Heart, Ensemble in The Laramie Project, and background work in films Believe Me and season two of NBC’s Revolution.
