Jacqueline Kana spent her early life in her hometown of Sealy, Texas, after graduating high school in 2013 she attending Blinn College in Brenham, Texas and later earning her Associate's Degree in Performing Arts in 2015. In 2015, she was accepted at Texas A&M University as a Theatre Arts major and is currently the Historian for Alpha Psi Omega at Texas A&M and is a student worker in both the Scenic and Costume Shop. Upon graduation this next spring, Jacqueline will start her high school theatre arts teaching career here in Texas.
Throughout the past 5 years, she has designed, stage managed, and performed in 12 shows with both the Blinn College and Texas A&M programs combined. Favorite roles include: Clue: The Musical as Mrs. White ( Blinn College Performing Arts ) , Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as Mrs. Beauregarde ( Blinn College Performing Arts) , The Children’s Hour as Peggy ( Flexible Grey Theatre Co.), and her most recent performance in Macbeth as Witch 3 (Texas A&M Performance Studies).
Jacqueline is thrilled to begin her first year with This Is Water Theatre and can not wait to grow as an artist. She would like to thank Andrew for the opportunity to be able to continue her learning process and expanding her experience, her family and close friends for all the love, support, and patience, her past teachers and professors who always pushed her past her limits I love you all to the moon and back.
