Azucena White

Azucena White (Suzy) got her start in theatre when she decided to participate in One Act Play in middle school, among a plethora of other activities. When she enrolled at Texas A&M University, Azucena chose to become a theatre major when her dad reminded her he had asked her several times to quit theatre in high school and she refused. Her passion for theatre grew with the help of several wonderful professors and she graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts in 2016.

While at Texas A&M, Azucena performed in Tartuffe, Lysistrata: A Woman’s Translation, Machinal, and The Pillowman and acted as the stage manager and assistant director for Macbeth. She also worked with her fellow students in Flexible Grey Theatre Company as the female understudy for Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead and performed in She Kills Monsters.

In addition to working with This Is Water, Azucena also works for the Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center and the 12th Man Foundation, both a part of Texas A&M University (Whoop!). When she is not busy, she really enjoys lazing at home.
