Alanna is an actor and dancer from San Antonio, Texas. She studied classical ballet for ten years at San Antonio Dance Academy under the instruction of Rosemary Cavasos Tatum. She was also a member of the National Champion Antonian Silver Dancers for three years. She received her BA in English from Texas A&M University where she took a theatre history class because it fit her schedule.
After discovering she couldn't live without it, she took ten more theatre classes and made her acting debut with Flexible Grey Theatre Company as Catherine in The Children’s Hour, then went on to perform in and choreograph for Flexible Grey’s production of She Kills Monsters. She played Banquo in the Texas A&M Department of Performance Studies' last mainstage production, Macbeth. She has also worked with The Hourglass Theatre Company and played Leigh in their very first production, Really Really.
She is grateful for the unique opportunity to work and grow with the ensemble at This Is Water.
